Tata Motors on Friday has launched the Safari Gold Edition at ₹21.89 lakh (ex-display area). The automaker asserts the Tata Safari Gold Edition accompanies posh and hi-tech features. Launched right ahead of the upcoming festive season, the Safari Gold release is accessible in two diverse shading options – White Gold and Black Gold.
Tata Safari Gold Edition – Specifications
Tata Safari Gold edition is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine that puts out 168 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque. This engine is offered with a choice between a six-speed manual gearbox and six-speed automatic transmission.
Tata Safari Gold Edition – Features
In the White Gold variant, Frost White colour with contrasting black elements is used. This variant also gets a black roof to provide a dual tone appearance. In order to justify the ‘Gold’ monicker, the white colour gets subtle golden accents.
In the Black Gold variant, coffee bean color inspire the exteriors along with the radiant golden accents on the exteriors. The interiors come with a combination of Dark Marble finish mid pad and golden flourishes in the cabin.

Other features will continue to be the same as that seen on the existing model and will include an 8.8 inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with advanced ESP along with 14 functionalities along with Boss Mode for enhance ride comforts.
Tata Safari Gold Edition – Price
The Gold Edition is launched at the price of Rs. 21.89 lakh (ex-showroom) for the manual and the for the automatic it is priced at Rs. 23.18 lakh for the automatic. This makes the Safari Gold Edition costlier than the Safari Adventure Trim.
The new Safari edition will make its first public appearance at the VIVO IPL 2021 in Dubai. Furthermore, Tata Motors has introduced the ‘Safari Gold Hit Challenge’ in this season. For the same, every time a batsman hits a six and the ball lands on either the car or the car display podium or the Safari #Gold LED commercial board, Tata Motors will contribute an amount of ₹2 lakhs to The Akshaya Patra Foundation, an NGO fighting for Covid-19 victims.
